The sine qua non team was in Munich this week to collect ideas. Together with some experts from the wine industry, we were guests at SAP Hybris, the experts for customer experience, and enjoyed a professionally moderated Design Thinking Workshop.
As Wikipedia knows, design thinking is "an approach that can lead to solving problems and developing new ideas". Developed at Stanford University, Design Thinking is now the starting point for successful business models around the world. Innovation arises when the factors of people, technology and business come together on an equal footing. Especially for digital business models, Design Thinking is a great mindset - after all, it's all about questioning the old-fashioned every day.
Accordingly, we were able to take some inspiration with us. A visit to the SAP Customer Experience Lab was the right start to an exciting day. Impressive prototypes such as the smart wine rack once again show how close the application of such concepts is in practice.
